Our policies
What to expect before you book, in plain words.
Booking and deposits
Book online at any hour, or call. A parent or guardian books for a teen. A facial takes a deposit that holds the time and goes toward the visit. Parent visits and routine sessions take no deposit.
Canceling and running late
Please give 24 hours' notice to cancel or move a visit. Arriving late may shorten the visit, because the time after it is held for someone else.
If you miss an appointment
If a facial is missed without a word, the deposit is kept. We're glad to rebook, and ask for a deposit again on the next facial.
Children and companions
We see clients from age 12. A parent or guardian books the visit, signs for it and stays in the room for a first visit, from the first question to the last. After that, your teen and you decide together whether you stay, and we ask you both at booking. Younger than 12? Call first. A friend or sibling can wait at the entry.
Patch tests and allergies
We try a new product on a small area first and wait before using it on the whole face. Tell us about sensitivities at booking, on the booking page. A reaction can happen with any skin product; if one does, tell us and we'll change the plan.
If you're not happy
Tell us within a few days and we'll make it right. We'll look at it with you both and adjust the next visit.
Tipping
Tips are welcome and never expected. A parent or guardian can add one when paying.
Before your visit
We tell you at booking what your teen should skip beforehand, such as scrubs or strong exfoliating products. Come five or ten minutes early, with hair off the face if you can and any products your teen uses now. The booking page's intake form asks the rest.
When to ask your doctor first
If your teen uses a prescription skin medicine, has a skin condition a doctor is managing, or you are unsure about a product, ask your doctor before you book a facial. We may also suggest a dermatologist or your doctor if we see something we would not want to work on.
Book a visit
A parent or guardian can choose a time on the booking page, or send a question first.
