Questions
Short answers before you book
What happens at a first visit?
A talk first, in the studio room. Eunah or Danya asks what your teen uses now and what bothers them, names each step before she does it, and finishes with a routine on a card. A first facial is 45 minutes, and the whole visit is about an hour.
Does a parent have to stay?
For a first visit, yes: you stay in the room from the first question to the last. After that, you and your teen decide together, and we ask you both at booking.
What is a parent visit?
A 30-minute talk for you, on your own or with your teen. We go through their skin and what they use, and say what we would suggest and what we wouldn't. No facial is done.
What is a routine session?
A 30-minute visit with no facial. Your teen and Danya go through what they use now and build a short routine on a card, in the order to use it.
How old does my teen need to be?
We see clients from age 12. Younger than that, please call us first.
Can my teen come in with a breakout?
Yes. Tell us when you book. We may suggest a calmer visit or another day, and we'll say why.
How should we get ready, and what about afterward?
We tell you at booking what to skip beforehand, such as scrubs or strong exfoliating products. Afterward, go gently for a day or two and use sunscreen outside. The routine card covers the rest.
What happens when you suggest a dermatologist?
We say so at the visit and write down why. We don't book another facial until a doctor has looked, and we're glad to see your teen again after.
How does pricing work?
Prices aren't printed on this site. The booking page shows the price of each visit before you confirm, and a facial's deposit goes toward it.
How do deposits and cancellations work?
A facial takes a deposit that holds the time and goes toward the visit. Parent visits and routine sessions take no deposit. Please give 24 hours' notice to move or cancel.
